Mission Statement
The missions of our group include:
 
Riverside LIFELINE - personal alarm system for seniors who live alone.  Can be used in case of fire, medical emergency, or to summon police,
 
SPRING AND FALL SAFETY FAIRS - provides crime prevention training for seniors,
 
PROJECT LIFESAVER - a personal protection tracking program to aid in locating people with Alzheimer's who wander away and become lost,
 
FILE OF LIFE - a mini medical history file that is mounted on the refrigerator for use by EMT personnel in an emergency,
 
EMERGENCY VEHICLE CARDS - carried in a vehicle with registration card for use in vehicle emergencies, contains medical history,
 
TRIAD SENIOR CONNECTION NEWSLETTER - published and distributed quarterly containing interesting and informative articles for seniors.

Impact The impact of any of the services listed above is difficult to assess.  We never know, except by word-of mouth, when one of our seniors has used one of our services.
Needs We need the support of individuals and organizations in the form of donations to continue to provide services.  We need participation to continue to execute the activities we conduct.
Background Mathews County TRIAD was established in 2007 with the objective of improving the health, safety and welfare of senior citizens in Mathews County.
