Background Habitat for Humanity of Gloucester-Mathews, Inc. is the local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a Christian housing ministry that helps families who can't afford safe, decent housing. Using volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds or fixes up houses with the help of the people who will live in them.
