 Since 1950, we:
  • Brought in the first doctor;
  • Started the volunteer fire department;
  • Established our community library;
  • Built the community Ball Park;
  • Installed the community swimming pool;
  • Put in a kids playground, built tennis and basket ball courts;
  • Started the Rescue Squad.
  • Founded the Deltaville Maritime Museum and Nature Park.
  • We provide a large meeting room that can be used by local groups as needed.
CEO Statement The organization has always been run by community volunteers donating their time and effort free of charge. Our only employees are lifeguards at the swimming pool during the summer months, a treasurer and an as needed handyman.  Deltaville is not an incorporated town, so we have provided the community with the enhancements that it otherwise would not have.
Board Chair Statement All Board members are volunteers that have a great love for Deltaville and want to see it improved in anyway they can help.  Our Board varies in size, but usually there are from 10 to 20 members.  We often hold public meetings on subjects of community interest that are well attended.
